Colterlec expands specialised engineering and service capability across Victoria

Colterlec adds a Victorian-based specialist engineering and service capability to the group, following the acquisition of AET Aust Pty Ltd, effective Friday 30th October, 2026. The move extends Colterlec’s in-house engineering bench into Victoria with Danfoss service partner agreement and specialist capability in drives service, component-level repair, site audits, turnkey manufacturing solutions and drafting, which means stronger support for our Victorian customers.

For over three decades, Colterlec has built a reputation for delivering specialist industrial electrical products and engineered systems for Australia’s most critical industries. This capability has grown to include in-house electrical and mechatronics engineers, dedicated workshop facilities and 24/7 field support delivered across the Eastern states of Australia. This growth strengthens the Colterlec portfolio giving customers access to a broader range of products, deeper technical expertise, tailored solutions and more consistent support wherever they operate.

“Growing our reach in specialised engineering and service is about giving customers more of what they already value from Colterlec; deep technical expertise, fast local support, backed by a national team and distribution network,” said Rod Henderson, CEO of Colterlec. “Adding this capability in Victoria means we can now offer that same level of support, and an expanded product range to customers across the state.”

Customers and suppliers of both businesses will continue to be supported by their existing contacts and account teams, with the added benefit of a broader national network behind them. Colterlec looks forward to continuing to grow its support for customers across Victoria and beyond.
