Suneeta Daftary to lead Energy Solutions at Colterlec
Colterlec has appointed Suneeta Daftary as General Manager – Energy Solutions, bringing more than 15 years of power conversion, energy storage and microgrid experience to the business and the company’s energy and power systems strategy.
The appointment is a deliberate step in the Colterlec growth strategy. Australia’s transition to renewables continues at pace with coal generation retirement and renewable capacity being firmed with storage, and microgrid and power conversion systems becoming core technology in the electricity system. That shift creates sustained demand for the engineering, integration and lifecycle service capability that the Energy Solutions business at Colterlec is built to provide.

The Energy Solutions business at Colterlec will support remote and off-grid mining, remote communities and islands, industrial and commercial microgrids, defence and critical infrastructure. Across those segments, solutions span hybrid renewable microgrids, battery energy storage with integrated power conversion, off-grid power systems and power quality solutions including STATCOMs.
Colterlec is simplifying full lifecycle delivery for assets owners who take a whole-of-life view of their investment.
