The MDS-G4000 Series features a rugged die-cast frames and encapsulated module design that allows the switches to operate reliably in harsh environments. The passive backplane design is even more reliable than before and eliminates a single point of failure. Should a module fail, you can simply swap it out instead of having to replace the whole frame, all without interrupting the operation of the switch. Through rigid testing of both the hardware and the operation system, we made the MDS-G4000 Series the perfect choice for networks that require maximized durability and reliability.
